The Museum of Fine Arts which was built between 1872 and 1891 has one of the most important art collections of the world thanks to the Habsburg family's interest in art collections. Here you can enjoy paintings by artists like Rubens, Rembrandt, Vermeer, Dürer, Raphael, Titian and Velazquez. The Albertina Graphic Arts Collection with its 60.000 drawings and about a million graphic reproductions, among them Albrecht Dürer's famous "Rabbit" from the year 1502, is well worth a visit. The Museumsquartier is one of the ten largest cultural complexes in the world, where baroque buildings, new architecture, cultural institutions and various disciplines of art are united.
